Sandstone<\/h2>\t\t\n\t\t

Sandstone<\/a> <\/strong>adds to the look of a building, and thanks to its resistance, long life, easy working and wide range of patterns it is just as practical. Quartzite<\/h2>\t\t\n\t\t

Quartzite has similar properties and uses to granite, but the two differ in appearance. Quartzite is an extremely hard rock. Its distinctive beauty, fine structure, durability and easy care make it an essential part of modern architecture. It is available in grey, brown, beige and green with a natural split surface. It is used mainly for outdoor floors and for cladding facades and other walls.\u00a0<\/p>

Travertine<\/h2>\t\t\n\t\t

Travertine<\/a> <\/strong>is a fine addition to the inside and outside of any home. It is a natural decorative stone formed from sedimentary deposits and comes in light and dark shades. It is the result of minerals and other deposits building up over a long time, which gave its structure its characteristic small air holes.<\/p>

A tip for anyone who likes it – the fewer small air holes it has, the better the quality of the travertine. Modern stone working offers a filler that we can use to fill these holes if you ask us to. Outdoor kitchens are becoming more popular here too, so it makes sense that people ask for natural stone in a rustic style. This natural stone has a beautiful look and has found its way into many Slovenian homes. It is used more and more as decoration and as the finishing touch, both outdoors and indoors. Indoors it is most often used on a TV wall, around a fireplace, on columns and so on. It goes well with wood, especially if you choose warm shades such as grey-brown or beige-brown.<\/p>
