Granite kitchen worktops and their advantages

When you choose the right material for your kitchen work surface, you need to think about both looks and practicality, and granite certainly has both.

Every rock that natural stone comes from has its own mineral structure and colour, veins and spots, which we can then work as you wish. A natural stone kitchen worktop is an excellent choice, as you will never again have to worry about where to put a hot pan, and this stone will almost certainly last longer than any other material. Natural stone needs very little care.

It is a good idea to seal the granite surface before use, so it does not absorb any liquids and stays resistant to stains. Natural stone kitchen worktops go with every design style, have a rich, one-of-a-kind look and add value to the home.

Every slab is different and cannot be repeated, and no two pieces are the same. There is a wide range of patterns with many textures and shades, from beautiful earth tones and lively greens, blues, reds or yellows to the more basic tones of black, grey and white.

On top of all this, granite is very attractive, very hard-wearing and resistant to heat. It brings elegance to a room and will inspire your cooking for many years. It can be exposed to sun, rain and other weather without fading, so you can have it not only indoors but also outside, in an outdoor kitchen.

Properly treated granite also keeps out bacteria that might otherwise settle in your new kitchen worktop. Granite is hard enough that you do not need to worry about scratches. Granite is not the only stone suitable for a kitchen worktop, of course. A worktop can also be marble, but marble is softer and so a little more prone to scratches.

"Kamniti
